No Railways this time just boats, trucks and tanks.
All the clubs together in one big new room.
80 tables to fill.
We have a 25% reduction in the on site restaurant this year.
8am start to set up on Saturday 4pm finish on Sunday.

Hoylake Model Boat Club were the very proud
1st Prize winners for BEST STAND
at the Model Boat Convention
Held at Haydock Racecourse this August.
Well done to all who helped
with this great achievement.
The club set up a magnificent display on Saturday afternoon 25th September inside the huge body shop at the Vauxhall plant. After an early start setting up on Sunday morning,we had a portable pool 12ft X16ft and 66ft of table space. The tables were laid out with our tailor made blue cloths which all looked very professional.
Shells, sand, lighting, nets and maritime trinkets adorned the stand. A large area to demonstrate the trucks and over 50 boats on display. We had a couple of boats that the visitors could try their skills at sailing and a couple of our models on the pool controlled by Cliff and Tony.
The Vauxhall staff were extremely helpfull, nothing was too much trouble for them filling and emptying the pool and stemming leaks in the pool. We were made very welcome and the event was a huge success.
We only had about 15 members participating out of a membership of nearly 80, come on guys you don't know what you are missing on these wonderful events!!
